INNOVATIVE CAD DESIGNER
Welcome to the INNOVATIVE CAD DESIGNER competition hosted by the Department of Civil
Engineering and Architecture. We're excited to invite participants from diverse academic
backgrounds to unleash their creativity and technical skills in computer-aided design.
Event Details:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- M.Tech students (Any Civil Engineering Branch) are invited to take on an additional
challenge.
Design Challenge:
- Regardless of academic level, participants will create a double-line architectural plan, front
elevation, and sectional elevation based on a given single-line diagram.
Difficulty Levels:
- We've designed the event to be inclusive for everyone, offering a standard difficulty level
suitable for B.Tech and B.Arch students.
- M.Tech students are encouraged to explore additional complexities at their own pace.
Time Duration:
- 2 Hours

Creativity in Design:
- Showcase your innovative design solutions, regardless of academic background.
Precision in Architectural Plans:
- We value attention to detail and accuracy in architectural plans.
Clarity in Front and Sectional Elevations:
- Present your design elements clearly in both front and sectional elevations.
Efficient Use of AutoCAD Tools:
- Demonstrate effective use of AutoCAD tools for successful design creation.
Adherence to Given Information:
- Align your designs with the provided single-line diagram, maintaining a high level of detail.
Prizes and Recognition:
- Winners will be recognized for their outstanding design skills.
- Certificates of achievement will be awarded to all participants.
